How to Achieve Superhuman Focus In 4 Simple StepsDisclaimer: This is my own personal process and I’m showing it to you for informational purposes only. I am NOT a doctor and I am not making any recommendations to you. I am simply showing you what works for me. Also, this post contains affiliate links for the products I recommend.
I built this process out step by step after months of experimentation. Each individual step helps, but when you combine them there is a HUGE positive effect, at least for me. STEP 1: Drink Water Immediately After Waking UpI can’t remember where I first learned about this, but the health benefits of drinking water when you first wake up are incredible.
After all, 70% of your body is made up of water, so you want to make sure you keep it fresh to keep the body working properly. Long-term dehydration can lead to migraines, colitis, hypertension, obesity, kidney stones, and more. When you drink water after waking up, you help rid your body of toxins, alleviate heartburn and indigestion, and improve your metabolism. I personally keep a S’Well bottle next to my bed because it keeps my water cold. I used to use a regular water bottle, but if I wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning, the water was already room temperature. With the S’Well bottle, it stays cold for hours and hours. STEP 2: Take This Nootropic.“Nootropics” is an umbrella term for a class of chemicals that give cognitive benefits to the human brain. They’re “brain boosters”.
They boost your memory, enhance your mood, and increase your focus. I’ve tried dozens of different nootropics over the years and right now I am sticking with Mind Lab Pro, which is one of the most highly-reviewed nootropics on the market today. In fact, I wrote a review about Mind Lab Pro here: How I Gained An Unfair Advantage By Unlocking My Brain STEP 3: Drink Coffee With These Two IngredientsThe reason I don’t want any caffeine in my nootropic is because my next step is to drink coffee, which has caffeine in it. But I’m not drinking just any coffee.
I take a cup of coffee and mix it with one tablespoon of organic butter and a tablespoon of MCT Oil. That might seem strange to those of you that have never heard of this concept before, but trust me when I tell you that it’s life-changing. The butter and MCT Oil make the coffee high in healthy fats, which promote mental health. At low doses, this concoction has been found to act as a mild cognitive enhancer, reducing anxiety, improving mood, and preventing cognitive decline. If you’re not a coffee drinker, I still recommend using MCT Oil (you can mix it in your shakes or put it on salads). It’s burned by the body for fuel instead of being stored as fat and it contains antioxidant properties. After I down my “super drink”, I move on to my final step… STEP 4: Use Essential Oils.
I only recently added this step and I found that it takes my brain to a higher level. The water, nootropic, and coffee are enough to get anyone focused and thinking faster, but this really cranks it up to “superhuman” status.
I was doing some reading and found out that peppermint essential oil has been found to stimulate the mind and support memory, focus, concentration, and mental performance. I decided to purchase a small essential oil diffuser, along with peppermint essential oil and put it in my office. While my coffee is brewing, I head into my office, turn on the diffuser and close the door. While I’m adding butter and MCT Oil to my coffee, my office fills up with the smell of peppermint. When I first walk in, the smell is pretty strong, but I keep the door open and it goes away soon enough. The important part is that I get that strong smell of peppermint and it really gets me going. And that, my friends, is how I get my brain working at superhuman levels. Do with it as you will. |
